How to get up to Christ the Redeemer
Nobody drives to the top. You go up by train, in one of the park’s official vans, or on foot.
Corcovado train
Brazil’s oldest tourist railway, opened in 1884. Expect a queue to board, even with a timed ticket, and book weekend mornings well ahead.
